Bernadette Dezzara (born February 28th 1948 in Ozone Park Queens New York) is famous as an American actor, singer, and author of children's tales. She has had a long career that spans five decades. She's performed at concert, released solo albums as well as appeared on TV. She is among Broadway's most popular actors. Nominated in seven Tony Awards (winning two), she also won eight Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards have been won through four Broadway recording of cast performances in which Peters has appeared.
